"Rachael Schwartz is an accomplished business leader with 25+ years experience spanning senior leadership industry roles at Keurig, GE Appliances, and Bose, and strategy consulting. Rachael’s leadership roles drove operating business growth with a focus on innovation, AI, digital transformation and strategy and is a recognized expert in connected products/Internet of Things, AI, and new business models.
Rachael currently is the Digital Strategy Leader across all of cooking at GE Appliances as well as the Executive Director, Product for Built-in cooking. In those roles, she is responsible, not only for the end-to-end revenue and profitability for the built-in cooking category (wall oven and cooktops) but also for envisioning and driving digital technology across GEA’s cooking appliances (#1 cooking company in
US with 40% share). As the digital transformation leader, she introduced a cadence of “better with time” over-the-air updates to hundreds of thousands of cooking appliances. Key updates contributed to increased media coverage, retail floorings, and ultimately sales and consumer satisfaction.Prior to GE Appliances, Rachael was the head of strategy for Bose's $3B consumer electronics division where she drove overall division strategy as well as strategy related to both its mature and emerging categories. Before Bose, Rachael was General Manager of Keurig Connect and VP Product Management, at Keurig, the leading single serve coffee brewing system. Keurig Connect is Keurig’s Internet of Things platform, providing consumers with enhanced beverage experiences enabled by a smart personal brewing system. She also started Keurig’s innovation program and its strategy group where she launched Keurig Kold beverage system and Campbell’s Soup k-cups. Rachael’s early career included working for several strategy consulting firms for 12 years, providing strategy consulting to innovation and R&D teams at large consumer products and foods and beverage clients.
Rachael currently holds two board roles: she is the Secretary of the Board of ANEWAY, a non-profit that is running a series of businesses with the goal of establishing meaningful work experiences for people with disabilities and she is a Venture Partner with Startfast Venture Accelerator, a pre-seed venture fund focused on SaaS, eCommerce, marketplace, and IoT.
She holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business in Strategic Management and Marketing and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in Design of the Environment. She is based in Louisville, KY, where she lives with her husband and 2 teenage boys."
